A report in the deanery magazine in 1909 shows that the club were reformed. The report reads,
After a considerable interval, Thrumpton Cricket Club has revived, and has been taken up with enthusiasm by the young men in the place. (These young boys played a game against Barton Boys)
Hitherto, it has not been successful in its matches, but the eleven show promise of improvement, and in the meantime a few defeats are a useful discipline.
The last recorded game before this was against Nottingham Post Office in July 1905.
