A general meeting was held in the schoolroom at Thrumpton January 28th 1960 in the presence of 12 members. The President was unable to attend owing to ill health. In his absence Mr C Towers was elected.

The meeting opened with the reading of the minutes of the last General Meeting by the Secretary. These together with the accounts showed a balance in hand of 26 pounds 11 shillings and 2 pence, a gain on the season of 3 pounds 15 shillings and 8 pence.

The averages were then read, Mr A Butler topped the batting and Mr G Shaw the bowling. Mr S Shaw, Mr W Pepper and Mr A Butler were top of the catches.

The team had a remarkable season Played 33 Won 27 Lost 5 Drawn 1. The all round success of the season was a great improvement in both batting and bowling.. The Official for the 1960 season were then elected.

Mr R Cursham was reinstated again on the Vice Presidents list. The only change from the previous season was the committee. Mr Walker, Mr I Shaw, Mr J Taylor and Mr M Smith were not elected. It was decided at the meeting instead of 25 overs taking top place in the bowling averages 25 wickets must be taken.. Instead of the usual 10 shilling being paid for the averages, it was passed that a small cup be presented to the top bowling, batting and catches.

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks being passed to Miss Priestley for her scoring and to Mr C Towers for taking the chair.
