A general meeting was held in the village hall on Thursday March 28th 1966 in the presence of 11 members.The meeting opened with by the Secretary of the reading of last years general meeting. These together with the accounts showed a balance in hand of 62 pounds 6 shilling and 2 and a half pence, a gain of 7 pounds 11 shillings and 11 and a half pence on the year.

The averages for 1965 were then read, Mr R Pick and Mr G Shaw won the batting and bowling respectively. Mr J Preston won the Catches.

The officials were voted en bloc again, the only change being Mr S Shaw as Sunday Captain in place of Mr R Pick. Mr R Chettle was once again elected Captain.

It was decided once again to hire a roller. A Whist Drive was held in the village hall in October 1965, the sum of ??? was raised for the club.

A Whist Drive was held on December 18th 1965 in the village hall. The sum of 14 pounds 12 shillings was raised, this effort was largely responsible of Miss P Small and family and also help from the village.
