Adam Proverbs was a good all round sportsman, equally as good at football as he was at cricket.
His dexterity meant that he could bat, bowl and also wicket keep.
Adam last played around the year 2001 and emigrated to New Zealand. He now lives in Tauranga and works as a Nurse lecturer. He his now happily married to wife Julia and has two girls, Beatrice aged 6 and Mia aged 4.
His last visit to the badger oval was September 2012 when he donned his whites once again and turned out for Thrumpton. It was obvious that he had never lost the talent in the field when he caught out the number 7 batsman with a catch at cover. Equally when batting it was obvious he had not lost it
