A general meeting was held at Thrumpton Hall on Friday 1st December 1985 in the presence of 18 members. Mr G Seymour took the chair. Apologies were received from Mr S Pepper.

The minutes of the last meeting were read and were signed by the Chairman to be a correct record.

The Treasurers report was read and the income was £877 and the expenditure £652.2 new bats and pads would be needed for the next season and the sightscreen and covers both needed repairing.

The averages for the season were read out (as above).

The Officials for the 1986 season were elected as follows.

It was decided to increase the match subs to £1 for senior members and 20p for the under 16s and the unemployed.. The annual subscription was to remain at £5.

The Christmas prize draw was discussed and it was decided to leave it to a later date.

The President then formerley welcomed new members Mr T Vennett Smith and Mr D Kemp to the club.

The meeting closed with Mr I Adkin thanking Mr G Seymour on behalf of the club members for the use of the cricket ground and also for his continued support.
