1992 AGM held in Thrumpton Hall 16th November 1992
Secretarys Report
Ivan Adkin said the club had had a successful year and for the first time ever had put out two teams on most Saturdays through the season. We had been so pleased with the 2nd XI that we decided to try to enter it into the Village League. We had been successful and had been entered in Division 6 for the 1993 season. Thanks go to Peter Carey, Lol Selby and Peter Drury.
We were winners of the Nottinghamshire Ground Improvement scheme for 1992 and thanks go to Andrew Footitt for all the work he has put into the square. We are all very proud of the ground at Thrumpton.
The cricket pitch was shown in the television programme Countryside in October with both players, Mr & Mrs Seymour and Mrs Priestley contributing to a most pleasant programme.
The Committee had met on 4 occasions over the season. Discussions at committee level had been the possibility of the repair of the covers and a building of a septic tank for the toilet block. We were also sad to hear that Mr Seymour only wanted us to replace the existing pavilion with one of similar size and construction. He had offered us the use of the Old Bothy at the side of the toilets to store some of our old tools. We are sorry to have lost Sammy Chapman from the Cuckoo Bush.

Thrumpton 2nd XI Fixtures (Where Sc is showing there is a full scorecard is online)
At the committee meeting 14th April 1992 it was felt that with 3 new members and 7 junior members that we should look at running a 2nd XI mainly of junior members and 4-5 senior members at one or two matches a month. Matches would have to be held away as the wicket at Thrumpton would not be able to take any more matches. Ron Priestley was asked to start looking for fixtures for May and June to start with. Peter Carey would be 2nd XI Captain with Lol Selby the Vice Captain.
